We also have robust arrangements with neighbouring services to enable additional support during major emergencies.\nTyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) operates a Fire Cadet Program aimed at developing young people\u2019s skills, confidence, and understanding of fire safety and community service. As part of this program, there is a requirement to suitably equip cadets with appropriate uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety and maintain professional standards during training and activities.",
