This enables suppliers to tailor prices to scope, volume, delivery timescales and specific technical requirements.\nIndexation (e.g., CPI, material indices) is not routinely accepted and should be supported by evidence from manufacturers, or annual review as defined in the framework terms.\nWhere relevant, suppliers provide an agreed catalogue or schedule of rates that covers commonly purchased items. Members may draw directly from these catalogues for predictable, repeat orders.\nOverall, pricing under the framework aims to provide transparency, value for money, and a compliant audit trail for members.\nMember mini competitions will assess both quality and price, each of which will have a weighting applied. The weighting given to quality and pricing will be determined at point of mini competition with 100% overall marks available.\nMini competitions will be evaluated by a scoring team comprising representatives of the CHIC member as well as CHIC and evaluated in accordance with the weighted percentages as stated in the mini competition submission Instructions.\nDirect Award is evaluated via a business case, taking into consideration a range of varying elements and not simply price.
