The Eye Unit optimises patient vision and minimises avoidable visual disability, \u003cbr/\u003emortality and other morbidity by providing high quality care that meets the needs of \u003cbr/\u003eadults and children with ophthalmic problems. Situated in a dedicated clinical space the \u003cbr/\u003eEye Unit provides the investigation and management of rare and/or complex cornea, \u003cbr/\u003eglaucoma and ocular conditions with a skilled and competent multi-disciplinary \u003cbr/\u003eworkforce to manage adults and children with ophthalmic disorders.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Eye Clinic Liaison Officer Service is aimed at ensuring patients \u003cbr/\u003eidentified as being likely to benefit from additional support are able to access the \u003cbr/\u003eservice without any delays. The service will provide access to information, advice and \u003cbr/\u003esupport for patients with vision impairment.
