    "description": "Healthy Urban Places (HUP) at The University of Liverpool (UoL) is seeking a community-based organisation (or organisations) experienced in community engagement, and with established community networks, to collaborate and contribute to \u201cCommunity Collaboratives\u201d and support the delivery of research for the Healthy Urban Places (HUP) programme. \nHealthy Urban Places, funded by UK Research and Innovation and part of Population Health Improvement UK, is exploring how and why local environments (e.g. housing, local amenities, access to jobs, availability of community or social spaces, the way decisions are made or resources invested) influence people\u2019s health and inequalities, through research with communities and local stakeholders. HUP is establishing a \u2018Community Collaboratives\u2019 that brings together communities, researchers and decision-makers in Liverpool and our sister site, Bradford. \nCommunity-based organisations will coordinate community-led research activities in their area and engage local communities and stakeholders. HUP researchers will provide training on research skills and actively support community organisations to co-produce meaningful research and identify priorities about what makes a healthy place, with the aim influencing place-based changes by sharing these with local, regional and national decision-makers.  \nThe tender will be structured into four Lots based on the local area that the research activities will be undertaken in:\nLot 1: Toxteth\nLot 2: Speke\nLot 3: Croxteth\nLot 4: Birkenhead\nThe work will be conducted in five work phase. These five phases are:\nPhase 1 \u2013 Start-up\nPhase 2 \u2013 Initial Research \nPhase 3 \u2013 Reflect \nPhase 4 \u2013 Further Research\nPhase 5 \u2013 Impact \nThe resulting contract will be 30 months, with the option to extend for 3 months.\nThe estimated maximum contract value per Lot is \u00a357,000.\nThe current total contract including any extension for all four Lots is \u00a3228,000. \nThere is the possibility of a further \u00a317,000 in additional funding, which is reflected in the stated Contract Value, however this has not yet been confirmed.",
