Description

Clinical Coders within the Clinical Diagnostics & Therapies (CD&T) area of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board undertake a complex role of abstracting and analysing complex clinical information from a patient’s health record, including electronic discharge summaries, nursing notes and diagnostic tests including imaging, to assign classification codes. The importance of accurate data is widely recognised across the NHS.
