"description": "Parliament Buildings requires essential conservation cleaning works to address biological growth, carbon soiling, and harmful pollutants that have accumulated on the Portland limestone fa\u00e7ades and associated external elements. \nThe need for intervention is driven by:\n\u2022preservation of the building fabric and prevention of long-term decay\n\u2022removal of biological growth and harmful pollutants;\n\u2022ensuring the building remains safe, structurally sound, and aesthetically appropriate; and\n\u2022compliance with heritage management duties for a Grade A listed asset.\nThe project includes cleaning the front elevation of Parliament Buildings, portico, tower, kerbs, steps, dwarf walls and architectural detailing, excluding areas expressly omitted in the specification.
