RTCs remain one of the most frequent, high-risk and life critical incidents types attended by the Fire Service.  The renewal of Crash recovery licences will enable crews arriving at an accident to assess the situation in a timely manner and make critical decisions of how to extricate persons involved in an RTC. The software will enable crews to directly search and identify the make and model of the vehicle and will provide personnel with up to date and reliable safety critical information relating to hazardous components which may be encountered at incidents involving all vehicles (i.e. cars, vans, lorries and Electric Vehicles) whether the incident is fire related or a special service call (e.g. road traffic collision).",
