The appointed supplier must ensure the safe and timely transfer of patients conveyed by Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), including those presenting with time-critical and high-acuity conditions.\nThe service must be fully compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements, including HIW registration (or equivalent where applicable), medicines management controls, clinical governance standards and infection prevention requirements. The supplier must demonstrate appropriate staffing competence, operational resilience and integration with local emergency care pathways.",
