        "description": "The process for calling off work from the framework will be as follows:\n\u2022\tOfficers identify a need for temporary traffic management works in an area\n\u2022\tOfficers use the key rates submitted with the winning bidders for the area to assess the lowest price supplier for the works \n\u2022\tOfficers contact the lowest price supplier to confirm availability within the required timescale. \n\u2022\tIf not available, officers contact the next lowest price supplier until an available supplier is identified\n\u2022\tDetails of the works are issued to the supplier and a full price requested\n\u2022\tProviding the price is consistent with the submitted rates (within 10% of the estimated price) the contract is awarded\n\u2022\tWhere the price is not consistent with the submitted rates (more than 10% over the estimated price) extenuating circumstances may be considered (e.g. emergency works, high complexity, work required outside normal working hours, etc)\n\u2022\tWhere the price is not consistent with the submitted rates and no extenuating circumstances justify the increase, a second price is sought from the next lowest price supplier and the scheme awarded based on two quotes.",
