    "description": "Dudley MBC is inviting applications from qualified suppliers to be admitted to an Open Framework to provide Supported living Services. \nSupported living is to provide vulnerable people the opportunity to live independently in a home-like environment rather than in a residential care home. The purpose of the service is to offer tailored support, including help with daily tasks like managing finances or maintaining a home, enabling individuals to lead more fulfilling lives and achieve personal goals. \nThe scope of this service will cover the following cohorts of Dudley residents.\nPrimarily people aged 18-64 including people over 65.\nIt will also include a range of disabilities.\n\u2022\tLearning Disability \u0026 Autism \n\u2022\tMental Health \n\u2022\tPhysical Disability \n\u2022\tAdults at Risk which may include forensic and crisis support.\nThe framework will consist of 2 separate Lots.:\n\u2022\tLot 1 - Long-term care and support\nLot 1 will respond to the needs of people requiring long-term care and support. \n\u2022\tLot 2 - Short-term intensive intervention support\nLot 2 will respond to people who present with forensic / very challenging complex behaviour requiring specialist support from highly skilled and trained providers and/or where people present in short-term crisis. \nThe Council reserves the right to use the powers available to it under Section 21 of the Procurement Act 2023 and Schedule 8, paragraph 1(a) of the Procurement Act 2023.\nThis includes the Council\u2019s ability under Section 21 PA23 to issue tender notices and associated tender documents as required for the lawful conduct of the procurement process, as well as its ability under Schedule 8, paragraph 1(a) PA23 to make permitted contract modifications without commencing a new procurement procedure, where such modifications meet the statutory conditions.",
