    "description": "The procurement of the operation of Registered Local Bus services in the local authority areas of Tyne and Wear with effect from 8th September 2025. It is anticipated that 2 contracts will be let and operate between 8th September 2025 to 6th September 2026.  \nThere will be no option to extend this agreement. Services provided will operate to specified timetables. The vehicles required will be low floor, easy access, meeting a minimum of Euro 6 engine emission standards, and meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 with a minimum capacity specified within the individual Invitations to Tender. \nThe vehicles utilised on this service are required to have some additional enhancements above the typical Nexus vehicle specification, such as free Wifi, USB charging ports and a unique Sunderland \u0027Connect\u0027 livery.  All additional information, service and suitability requirements is set out within the procurement documentation.",
