This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice services as an intention\nto award under the PSR Direct Award Process C.\nThere has not been any declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest of any individuals making the decision to award this contract.\nApproval to award the contract has been made by: Sara Storey - Corporate Director of Adults and Integration.\nThe Key Criteria and associated evaluation weightings, and associated rationale that were used for the evaluation of provider assessments that are the basis for the decision to award\nthe contract are listed below:\nQuality and Innovation:\nYork CVS, are an independent charity; supporting and championing York\u0027s voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector to make positive change, challenge issues and grow new ideas for the future in order to strengthen communities.\nYork CVS deliver a wide range of support to organisations and groups within York as well as administrating other grants such as the Ways to Wellbeing grant. This adds value to the work they are delivering as part of this project. They have significant experience of partnership delivery and of championing and supporting the value of the role of the voluntary sector in the delivery of health and social care.\nIntegration, collaboration, and service sustainability:\nThe project looks to improve access to mental health and wellbeing support, ensure open access, person centred and flexible support. Integrated models of care allow for best use of resources, avoid duplication, and avert more costly acute and crisis services. Offering flexible support within the community will increase accessibility for groups who are currently underrepresented within mental health services. \nThe model also seeks to address the health inequalities for people with a severe mental illness by improving access to physical health support, addressing the social determinants of mental health, and building community connectedness.\nThe mental health hub is being closely evaluated to ensure that system benefits of this way of working can be realised and resources realigned appropriately to ensure service sustainability. \nImproving access, reducing health inequalities, and facilitating choice:\nThe project looks to improve access to mental health and wellbeing support, ensure open access, person centred and flexible support.\nSocial value:\nSupporting individuals as part of the mental health hub will achieve many social values including increased ability to maintain employment, access to volunteering, prevention of crisis, supporting individuals to access relevant benefits, improved mental health and wellbeing, able to participate in community activities.",
