There are no alternatives and this award would fit into the exemption clauses as highlighted above. Due to the deadline of 30th April 2025, it is not possible to re-run this competition or go out to open tender as the Council has a statutory obligation to provide insurance cover beyond this date. No other provider has presented a quote to the Councils Insurance Broker. This provider is the only company who have quoted for the services the Council needs.",
