Uniquely, they run their environment on \nMicrosoft Windows, utilising IIS (Internet Information Services) and .NET \ntechnologies, rather than the more common Linux-based setup.\n\u2022 Calculation Capability\nThe platform supports core business calculations - specifically, those used to \nmodel and determine the fees other companies must pay to access and use \nrailway infrastructure. These financial models are essential to Network Rail\u2019s \noperations. \n\u2022 Ongoing Upgrades and Technical Support \nAptitude has supported several platform upgrades over the years, with the most \nrecent migration to version 24.4.1. We assisted in resolving issues during this \nprocess, particularly compatibility concerns with Windows Server 2022. \n\u2022 Testing and Migration Status \nNetwork Rail is in the final phase of testing their newly upgraded application. \nMost system tests have been completed successfully, with a few final validations \ncurrently underway. \n\u2022 Continued Engagement \nWhile direct development work has been minimal since 2019, Aptitude \ncontinues to provide proactive technical support, version upgrades, and \nassistance with troubleshooting to ensure continued platform stability.",
