As part of this aspiration the Council is seeking a Provider to operate the Caf\u00e9 at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre. \nBirmingham is renowned for being a green city, with numerous parks, areas of open space \u0026 open water; where people can be active and enjoy the great outdoors. Over the past few years, we\u2019ve seen a significant increase in the number of visitors to parks as people are realising the benefits that come from greenspace. \nThe Caf\u00e9 at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre offers an opportunity within a heavily urbanised area for a suitable space that can deliver refreshments to the public. The Council wishes to engage with experienced organisations or individuals with relevant and appropriate experience to provide the services to visitors to the park and local community\nThe contract will be let under a concession agreement for a period of three years with the option to extend up to a further three years.  Bidders should note that if successful all costs associated with the delivery of the service shall be the responsibility of the Concessionaire. \nThis Request for Quotations is being issued using the Council\u2019s e-tendering system \u2018In-tend\u2019 and organisations must ensure that they are registered users.  The procurement process will be managed using this system and therefore all bids must be submitted by Tenderers via the \u2018in-tend\u2019 system. https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc\nRegistration and use of in-tend is free. All correspondence for this procurement process must be via the in-tend correspondence function and you should not contact any individual directly either by email or by telephone.
