    "description": "North Northamptonshire Family Hubs will commission a Speech and Language Therapy provision to deliver an initial one-year pilot providing advisory and supervisory support for the universal speech and language development workforce.\nThe provider shall supply Speech and Language Therapy from suitably qualified and experienced professionals. Therapists deployed by the provider will have extensive experience in specialist speech and language therapy, workforce training, and multi-agency collaboration. Therapists deployed will utilise evidence-based approaches following NICE guidance where applicable.  Therapist will maintain registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists throughout the length of the contract. Therapists deployed to this service will be able to evidence particular expertise in:\n- Early years speech and language assessment and interventions that maximise a child and young persons communication \n- Integrated service delivery - working across education, health, and early intervention teams to align speech and language support with local strategic priorities.\n- Expertise in workforce development - training and upskilling professionals in best practices for early communication support.\n- Supporting universal practitioners - ensuring that those working directly with children have access to specialist coaching and supervision to enhance their impact.\nThe provision of this service will address in part current capacity issues and ensure that there is an increase in universal support.",
