A transformation project is in place and an options paper has been drafted on how to combine the two legacy Council approaches to gas services in Corby and\nKettering into a wider North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) approach. Kettering currently have an in house team delivering this service and Corby contract out. This extension is designed to provide one year from 3/3/23 to agree and implement an NNC approach to Gas Servicing, Repairs, new installations and Out of Hours for NNC. The price that has been provided by Aaron Services is based on their existing 4 year procured contract price with an uplift in values based on the current rates of inflation for parts, labour, fuel and other running costs. We deem this as a short term solution to ensure that this statutory service remains in place in the short term, whilst the longer term solution is agreed and implemented.",
