    "description": "North Somerset Council require a Principal Contractor to deliver refurbishment works at the Voyage Learning Campus - Milton, in Weston Super Mare to enhance the council\u0027s Alternative Provision and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) support.\r\n\r\nThe works entail the refurbishment and extension of the existing building within the school grounds and includes:\r\n\u2022 Phased construction works\r\n\u2022 Forming of a new entrance area\r\n\u2022 Removal of existing entrance atrium\r\n\u2022 Construction of two new single storey classrooms\r\n\u2022 Light / medium refurbishment works\r\n\u2022 Replacement of existing roof, 2nr roof lights south of the atrium\r\n\r\nThe refurbishment elements will include both light and medium refurbishment, including new floor coverings, decorations, and moving of some internal walls and partitions.\r\n\r\nAll elements will need to be phased around a live school environment delivering Alternative Provision and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) support with consideration to both students and staff.\r\n\r\nThe project will be managed under JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractors Design, estimated 24-month contract duration (12 months of defects).\r\n\r\nTender documents can be found and downloaded from the Supplying the South West portal: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=a742efcd-1416-f011-8136-005056b64545\u0026p=696a9836-1895-e511-8105-000c29c9ba21\r\n",
