It supports people at times of crisis and at the most difficult times - such as when people need to be supported to be at home when at end of life. To not extend would mean we put these arrangements on a non-compliant footing giving us no recourse to hold providers to account for the support they provide to people in our city. It also exposes our NHS partners who are a named party to the arrangements.",
