RGAs and control units must be current standard catalogue items which the supplier has a history of supplying. Tender responses must be compliant with the specification. However, suppliers may also offer available alternatives to those outlined in the specification as options.\nDiamond-II, in its initial phase, will require the following RGA heads and control units:\nITEM QUANTITY\nQuadrupole heads 30 - 50\nControl electronics 30 - 50\n3 metre extender cables 30 - 50\nfor electronics.\nA software package DLS-wide user license\n(EPICS integration, or\nASCII based protocol\nwould be desirable).",
