    "description": "With our growth towards Net Zero, SSEN Transmission are looking to award a multi lot geographically split Minor Maintenance Framework contracts to maintain our sites to high standards. \nWithin the Contracts, we are looking for contractors who will manage \u2013 Defect correction and planned maintenance across 180 sites. \nWhat we are looking for:\nLocal construction companies with the knowledge and expertise to undertake our works within our safety systems. \nAn example but not exhaustive list of works covered under this framework would be:\n\u2022\tGeneral Building Work\n\u2022      Roofing works, flat and pitched \n\u2022\tPlumbing \u0026 Drainage systems  \n\u2022\tGeneral Building Work \n\u2022\tFencing \n\u2022\tMetal \u0026 fabrication works \n\u2022\tPainting \u0026 Decoration  \n\u2022\tJoinery \u0026 Carpentry \n\u2022\tBricklaying \n\u2022\tCladding \n\u2022\tPlastering \n\u2022\tGroundworks \n\u2022\tMechanical \u0026 electrical in conjunction with general building works \n\u2022\tLarge Doors Overhaul \n\u2022\tWinter maintenance \nWith an expected total Contact value across all lots and suppliers of up to \u00a35.5 million (approx. \u00a330k per site) this gives the opportunity for small new to SSEN contractors to deliver these essential maintenance works on sites all over Scotland.\nThe purpose of this market engagement is to gather information from the market at this stage only.
