    "description": "BCP Council are commissioning Supported Accommodation Services for Children in Care\naged 16 - 18 years, for whom the authority has a statutory responsibility for, in line with \nOfsted requirements and regulations for the sector.\nSupported Accommodation Services enable children to prepare for independent living, \nutilising support (rather than care) to aid children to achieve positive outcomes.  \nIn accordance with the sufficiency duty placed upon local authorities, wherever it is safe \nand appropriate to do so, BCP Council intend to support children to remain living in their\nlocal area; to maintain in contact with, and access to, their family and friends, education \nservices, health and wellbeing services and local communities. \nThe anticipated start date of the contract is January 2026.\nThe contract will be 5 years with the option to extend for a further 3 years (5+2+1). Therefore, if all extensions were to be taken, the full length of the contract would be 8 years.",
