    "description": "The University had a requirement for the purchase of a flight simulator. The simulator was to be used to allow engineering students to experience flying different aircraft. It needed to be immersive, give realistic feeling control and a wide array of data simulating real world conditions. The following technical specifications were required: \u2022 To provide an immersive experience the simulator should feature either multiple displays and/or VR. \u2022 The ability to simulate multiple different fixed wing aircraft. \u2022 Different flight control options with a minimum of a single yoke and a flight stick. \u2022 A minimum of a single seat included. \u2022 Multiple displays showing live simulated data. \u2022 Flight control switch panel (this needs to be operational but doesn\u0027t need to be an exact replica of a specific aircraft). \u2022 All computing requirements and software for operation should be included. \u2022 Able to be powered using UK 3 pin plugs (240v).",
