Providers may bid for a maximum of 4 Lots (Maximum of 2 from lots 1 - 4 and maximum of 2 from lots 5 - 8).\nEndodontic treatment encompasses procedures that are designed to maintain the health of all or part of the dental pulp. As part of dentistry\u0027s main goal to maintain a healthy, natural dentition for the public, the aim of endodontic treatment is to preserve functional teeth without prejudice to the patient\u0027s health.\nThe discipline of Prosthodontics comprises the reconstruction and replacement of teeth and associated soft and hard tissue defects or pathology using prostheses including intra-coronal restorations, occlusal splints, crowns, bridges and dentures, which may be fixed or removable and supported by teeth, soft tissues or dental implants. Prosthodontics plays a major role in oral health related quality of life, in particular in relation to oral comfort, speech, mastication, aesthetics and perception of well-being\nSpecialist care is typically carried out alongside general dental care and maintenance of the dentition in a shared care arrangement with the referring practitioner, wherein the specialist would carry out agreed items of specialist care in liaison with, and with the agreement of, the referring dentist and the patient. \nThe service will provide Level 2 and 3 Endodontics and Level 2 and 3 Prosthodontics for patients being referred by General Dental Practitioners (GDPs) included on the NHS South East Regional National Performers Lists, for patients residing, or with a General Medical Practitioner (GMP) within the ICB for which the service has been commissioned. \nThe service will work to a time-limited national Personal Dental Services (PDS) agreement.  The service will provide consistent, high-quality care based on the quality assurance principles as set out in the PDS agreement.\nThe Level 2/3 service is defined as procedures/conditions to be performed or managed by an accredited Level 2/3 clinician with enhanced skills, competence and experience who may or may not be on a specialist list. \nThe maximum total initial contract values (5 years) for each lot are as follows:\nLot 1 - Endodontics Buckinghamshire: \u00a3788,400\nLot 2 - Endodontics Oxfordshire: \u00a31,002,600\nLot 3 - Endodontic Berkshire West s: \u00a3712,200\nLot 4 - Endodontics Berkshire East: \u00a3613,800\nLot 5 - Prosthodontics Buckinghamshire: \u00a3729,400\nLot 6 - Prosthodontics Oxfordshire: \u00a3927,500\nLot 7 - Prosthodontics Berkshire West: \u00a3658,700\nLot 8 - Prosthodontics Berkshire East: \u00a3567,700\nThe contract term is planned to commence on 1st April 2026 and will be for a duration of 5 years with an optional extension of 2 years.\nThis exercise is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.\nInterested providers will be able to view the opportunity and access the tender documentation via the \u0027Live Opportunities\u0027 list on the e-procurement system, Atamis, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome",
