    "description": "It is the intention of Derry City and Strabane District Council, as the Employer, to appoint a Civil Engineer led Integrated Consultant Team (ICT). The ICT will design, secure planning approval of extensions to Strabane, Mountcastle and Castlederg cemeteries. Obtain Planning Permission for Extensions Outwith Existing Cemetery Boundaries (notional construction value of approximately 6500 burial plots) The second part of the commission involves securing planning permission for the future construction of new burial plots and associated siteworks and infrastructure outwith the existing boundaries at three of the cemetery sites (i.e. Strabane, Mountcastle and Castlederg). The ICT will design and cost all aspects of the required works (i.e. RIBA Work Stages 0, 1, 2, 3, 4), including the drawings, specification, procurement, supervision, approval and interpretation of all surveys, studies, reports, assessments, etc. to secure planning approval. Council will pay for the third party delivered surveys, studies, reports, assessments, etc.. As an aid to understanding the scope of services associated this commission, DCSDC has prepared high-level draft concept masterplans of the extent of the extensions at each cemetery and draft high level brief costs and plots spreadsheet.
