    "description": "Introduction\nThe Lisburn Half Marathon Event is a road race programme consisting of three races: Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run. The event will take place on 3rd Wednesday of June each year starting at 6.30pm and finishing at approximately 9.30pm. The awarded tenderer will be dedicated to the event on the evening from 4.00pm until the finish of the event. Set-up and take down times will vary across the Half Marathon site and will be confirmed at pre-event meetings.\nBackground\nThe event attracts over 5,000 participants for the three races. This is a community event using roads around central Lisburn and the surrounding area (see maps below), causing major traffic issues. We require a Traffic Management company to manage the roads as efficiently as possible, providing a safe environment for the runners whilst minimising traffic congestion.\nTimeframes\nEvent date: 3rd Wednesday of June every year\nFinal Plans, Maps and junction details required by: 1st April each year, however there will be a requirement for draft versions at a multi-agency meeting in March each year.
