As part of the PackUK mandate it is integral that there is one source of truth that citizens can access to find out what packaging they can recycle and where. WRAP’s Recycling Locator is the UK's only postcode-based search tool for citizens to find out what to recycle at home and at nearby locations. These funds will be used to ensure that there is strong and robust packaging data focus on the locater and that the tool is accessible for all audiences looking to recycle their packaging. First phase will be minimal viable solution To ensure this, Wrap will employ a SEO strategy and implementation to maximise discoverability and use of the tool, with a focus on packaging and the role Pack UK is playing in delivering this programme and supporting businesses.
