    "description": "This Contract Notice is to inform the market that the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works has been extended for one year, until 8th November 2025, in accordance with the DPS Agreement and original tender documentation.\nCarmarthenshire County Council established a DPS for the supply of services relating to Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on 9th November 2020 for an initial period of up to 4 years. The DPS is operated on a fully electronic basis and is open to new entrants throughout its term who meet the minimum criteria specified in the DPS documents.\nContractors will be required to be suitably qualified and experienced to undertake works primarily associated with Highways, however the DPS will also provide for Ash Dieback and other tree felling works on housing sites, industrial estates, school and other sites owned by the Council within Carmarthenshire. Additionally, there may be the requirement for works to be undertaken on private land at the Council\u2019s request and emergency tree felling works.",
