    "description": "Located on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, Diamond Light Source (DLS) is a leading-edge facility for science, engineering and innovation. Diamond allows researchers from academia and industry to investigate the structure and behaviour of the world around us at the atomic and molecular level.\nTo continue delivering the world-changing science that Diamond enables, the facility is being upgraded to Diamond-II, a co-ordinated programme of development that combines a major machine upgrade with new instruments and complementary improvements to optics,detectors, sample environment and delivery capabilities, and computing, as well as integrated and correlative methods. This will be transformative in speed and spatial resolution and will offer users streamlined access to enhanced instruments for life and physical sciences.\nThe scope of the contract is to manufacture 103 supports structure assemblies which support the primary electron beam position monitor (PEBPM) bellows assemblies (not in scope of this specification); the stand is shown in the image below. The support comprises of 4 low thermal expansion coefficient iron nickel alloy (Invar 36/1.3912) rods welded to a baseplate of the same material; the rods are braced by stainless steel plates clamped to all 4 rods at intervals along the rod\u0027s length. The top of the rods provides an interface and mechanism for adjustment of the PEBPM position in all 6 degrees of freedom.\nThe supplier shall deliver four pre-series supports to DLS for approval prior to welding of the remaining 99 stands, it is acceptable to produce all subcomponents prior to this.\nThe contract includes:\n\u2022\tContract management \n\u2022\tPurchase of all materials.\n\u2022\tCTE Test piece.\n\u2022\tManufacture of 103 Support assemblies.\n\u2022\tAll jigs and tooling required for manufacture.\n\u2022\tCleaning (see section 3.4).\n\u2022\tQuality assurance documentation\n\u2022\tPacking\n\u2022\tDelivery",
