    "description": "The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is responsible for managing public health outbreaks, including those in the community. They work with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and other partners to detect, investigate, and control outbreaks of infectious diseases and other hazards. \nThe Community Outbreak Response Service (CORS) will aim to provide a coordinated and timely clinical response to communicable disease outbreaks and or incidents within the Dorset community, ensuring effective management of cases and contacts to minimise transmission and protect public health.\nDesired Outcomes\n\u2022\tReduced time to diagnosis and treatment for confirmed cases.\n\u2022\tEffective prevention response to minimise hospitalisation and reduce impact on the local health and care system. \n\u2022\tImproved inter-agency coordination and collaboration.\n\u2022\tReduced morbidity and mortality associated with the outbreak.\nThe Dorset Community Outbreak Response Service (CORS) aims to ensure there is one centralised pathway in place for the clinical response and management of Influenza and Scabies within the Dorset community. This service builds on and is in addition to the responsibilities within the GMS/PMS contract held by GP Practices.\nThe CORS provisions will support an effective, timely outbreak and or incidents response for the management of Influenza and Scabies   within the Dorset community, including migrant and homeless populations, care home settings and within the patient\u0027s own home. \nThe service aims to prevent the spread of disease and minimise its impact on local neighbourhood health and the wider healthcare system.\nService to cover all children and adults registered with a Dorset GP.\nThis procurement is baing managed under the Provider Selection Regime Most Suitable Provider procedure following an Expression of Interest procedure published on the 22nd August 2025 entitled \"NHS DORSET - DORSET COMMUNITY OUTBREAK RESPONSE SERVICE (CORS) - EOI\"",
