This has been highlighted through research, mapping of existing support and the establishment of Refugee Welcome Programme (RWP). RWP partners have noted a gap in provision for specialist personalised employment support and employer engagement and liaison for this group.\nThe project focuses on increasing opportunities for refugees and people seeking asylum to enter meaningful employment, GMCA are therefore seeking to award a contract for the provision of regular, personalised employment support for people seeking asylum (with the right to work) and refugees in Greater Manchester. GMCA are seeking to award one provider or a consortium with a single lead partner to deliver this work.
