    "description": "The London Borough of Hackney is procuring for a Design and Build Contractor for the Development of Mixed Tenure Housing at De Beauvoir Estate. The Authority is seeking to appoint a contractor under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (JCT PCSA 2024 as amended) to undertake pre-construction activities in relation to the delivery of new homes on the De Beauvoir Estate. The deliverables are as follows: Regulatory compliance design review; Design development from the tender information onwards to RIBA Stage 4; Completion of Hackney\u0027s New Build Design Specification (NBDS) Tracker at RIBA Stage 4, including presenting any proposed derogations to the Authority for approval; Preparation and submission of the Building Safety Act Gateway 2 pack, including the provision of Principal Designer (Building Regulations) services, and working collaboratively with Hackney\u2019s Project team on potential design changes to enable informed decisions to be made throughout the process; and Engagement with the Local Authority to discharge all pre-commencement conditions. As the contractor under the PCSA, you will engage and manage your design team and will be responsible for liaison with your supply chain to obtain work package costs. You will engage in open book tendering, working closely with the client\u2019s appointed Quantity Surveyor/Employer\u2019s Agent to prepare your tender sum for the main works contract. The contract is anticipated to commence in September 2026.",
