Lot Description: The provision of Commissioned Night Care Services for adults aged 18 and over living within the Borough of Oldham, including rural and hard-to-reach areas. The service is designed to support vulnerable adults to remain safely in their own homes during the night, promoting independence and reducing the risk of avoidable hospital admissions or residential care placements. Oldham Council expects the Provider to deliver high-quality care and is committed to working in partnership with key stakeholders, adopting outcome-based approaches in the delivery of this service. The Council seeks to commission services that are safe, person-centred, and of consistently high quality. Service users shall be supported to live as independently as possible, enabling them to exercise choice, maintain their preferred lifestyle, and make their own decisions. The Extra Care Housing schemes across the borough, are owned by the Council, with the housing management and maintenance elements managed through a PFI contract. Oldham Council expects the Provider to deliver high-quality Extra Care support and to work in partnership with residents, families, housing partners, health services, and other key stakeholders.
