Description

NWL has a requirement for sodium nitrate 40% or calcium nitrate 45% for the purpose of Septicity Control. Anaerobic conditions on wastewater sites cause the production of hydrogen sulphide, which creates bad odours and can transform into sulphuric acid which corrodes pipes. Septicity control chemicals are used to stops hydrogen sulphide from occurring. The duration of the contract will be 3 years with an option to extend for 2 years.
