The Methodology Development & Review of PFAS & POP's in Landfill Overarching Project - WP2 - Landfill Gas Sampling Methodology development (PFAS) Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and specifically Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are one of the highest priority chemical pollutants globally. Several PFAS compounds have recently shown through new evidence that they are more toxic than first thought. This project is part of an ongoing series of work investigating the potential presence of PFAS and POPs in landfills, and their impact on landfill emissions and receptor.
