    "description": "Stockport Homes (SHL) would like to procure a contract for the provision of tree maintenance services, such work being an essential component in the delivery of the Estate and Neighbourhood Management and Tree Policies and will enable SHL to undertake remedial works on tree\u2019s that are hazardous or potentially dangerous to members of the public.\nServices include (but not limited to):\n\u2022 Crown Reductions\n\u2022 Crown Lifting\n\u2022 Pollarding\n\u2022 Coppicing\n\u2022 Branch Removals\n\u2022 Dead wooding\n\u2022 Epicormic/Basal Growth Removal\n\u2022 Felling\n\u2022 Self-Set Removal\n\u2022 Stump Level\n\u2022 Stump Grinding to Ground Level\n\u2022 Stump Treatment\n\u2022 Tree Replacement\n\u2022 Tree Guards / Stakes\n\u2022 Timber / Arisings Removal\n\u2022 Ivy Removal\n\u2022 Hedge Maintenance\n\u2022 Reactive Emergency Tree Works\n\u2022 Equipment Hire\nThe contract being for an initial term of two (2) years with the option to extend for a further 12 months (at the sole discretion of SHL).\nAward criteria - Quality 40% / Price 60%\nAll tenders must be submitted via Proactis prior to the tender deadline.
