    "description": "Hertfordshire County Council (HCC or the Council), the Contracting Authority, acting on behalf of the Participating Authorities is currently out to procurement for the Provision of a Framework for the Supply of Educational Tables, Chairs, Folding Tables and Lockers to End Users in various locations throughout Hertfordshire, Hampshire and the surrounding areas. The Framework will be open for all UK public sector organisations as outlined in the tender documentation (please see the Specification, Schedule 1 of the Framework), subject to the agreement of Hertfordshire County Council, the Contracting Authority.\nThis requirement is for seven Lots as detailed below.\nLot 1\tEducational Tables\nLot 2\tEducational Seating\nLot 3\tBulk Pack Tables\nLot 4\tBulk Pack Seating\nLot 5\tEssentials Educational Seating\nLot 6\tMobile Folding Tables\nLot 7\tSteel Lockers\nThe figures quoted in this notice are for guidance only and have been uplifted to include any possible spend from other Authorities that may join during the life of this Framework. This is a Framework and there is no guarantee of spend. Full details, including current spend, are in the Tender document set.\nThe Council will procure this Framework using the\u202fOpen Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023.\nFull details of the requirement and context of the procurement can be found in the Specification (Schedule 1) of the Framework Document. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to \u2018express an interest\u2019 and also \u2018opt in\u2019 which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. \nTo be considered as a Tenderer you must complete and submit a Tender by the deadline of 12 noon on the 16th December 2025. \nPlease allow sufficient time to make your return, as Tender submissions cannot be uploaded and submitted after this return deadline. \nPlease ensure that where possible documents are uploaded as a PDF and that file names are succinct.     "riskDetails": "In furtherance of the UK Government\u2019s plans for English devolution, Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) is consulting on plans for the reorganisation of local government structures in its county. This reorganisation may result in the county, district and borough councils of Hertfordshire being re-organised into a multi tiered unitary authority. HCC is required to submit its full plan for re-organisation to UK Government by November 2025, and any changes are estimated to take effect in April 2028 (although this is subject to change). Such changes could directly affect the structure, scope, or continuation of the contract beyond 1st April 2028. Whilst it is anticipated that existing contracts will be novated to the replacement authority, HCC can offer no guarantee at this stage.",
