    "description": "It shall be the duty of The Service Provider to carry out the operation, inspection and maintenance of all lifts plant, including servicing and completing repairs, as contained within the Specification. This will also include:\nProviding a high quality maintenance service that will fulfil The Authorities obligations to their staff and lift users.\nThe list of Authorities are:\n\u2022 Blackpool Borough Council (The Council)\n\u2022 Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH)\nBCH have been named as a Contracting Authority for the purposes of this tender however, it is not known at this stage whether they will be progressing to their own contract award. Therefore, for any requirements identified for BCH, this element is not guaranteed. Any agreement for their requirements will be a separate contract with the service provider and will be managed by BCH.\nBlackpool Borough Council also manage the lift maintenance on behalf of Fylde Borough Council. These assets are included within this provision and within the pricing schedule. Blackpool Borough Council are further taking over management of Wyre Borough Council\u0027s assets. These may or may not be included from the commencement of the contract due to current arrangements in place. It is anticipated they will be \u0027on board\u0027 by mid 2026.",
