Description

NHS Frimley ICB ("the Commissioner") sought to commission provision to provide a Local Clinical Assessment Service & Emergency Department Revalidation Service for Frimley ICS patients in Bracknell, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) & Slough Places. The four main elements to the provision of the core services are: • Interoperability with the 111 service • Clinical input - diagnosis and treatment • Suitable accommodation for patients to be seen face-to-face • Transport - cars including drivers for home visiting The core service will integrate with the local 111 and other health and care services, observing the overriding principles of seamless transfer. "Integrated" in this context is defined as ensuring that the caller's journey through the urgent and emergency care system is supportive and seamless. Frimley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates.
