    "description": "NCC have obtained funding from UK Government for delivery of 52 on-street EV charging points through the On-street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS).  The installation of these chargers went out to tender last financial year and a supplier was appointed, but issues with the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) process delayed delivery of these sites.  The appointed supplier has now confirmed that they are not in a position to be able to deliver (install and commission) all 52 sites by the required deadline of 27th February 2026.  Therefore we are in a position where we require another provider to deliver 19 sites for us by this deadline, otherwise we will lose access to this external grant funding.  No extension to the funding is possible as the scheme closes fully at the end of the current financial year.  ",

This resulted in two contracts being awarded:\n\u2022\tOne for on-street chargers\n\u2022\tOne with Urban Fox for lighting column chargers\nThe supplier for the on street chargers has now confirmed they are unable to deliver the remaining of the on-street chargers. Therefore, NCC has decided to direct award the remainder of the contract to Urban Fox Networks, who have:\n\u2022\tSuccessfully delivered under the existing contract\n\u2022\tRanked second in the original on-street charging tender\nUrban Fox has confirmed they can deliver the remaining chargers within the required timeframe.",
