This 4 year framework provides for works and services to residential properties (although not exclusively) and associated communal areas for decoration works and related activities and includes cyclical responsive repairs, provision of void works, new build and regeneration works. Suppliers will provide services to prepare, coat, paint, decorate and clean internal and external surfaces as required by the Member. These services may be required in domestic properties (occupied and unoccupied), communal areas of domestic blocks, specialist housing, commercial premises and public buildings. The services and/or works required under the framework shall be for a range of CHIC members and therefore a mixture of properties and blocks under their asset management programmes. The Framework will provide national coverage across the United Kingdom (UK).

CHIC is a non-profit making organisation, owned by its members.\nAt the establishment of a framework, in the pricing documents, there is a transaction fee added to the Suppliers prices. The level of the fee varies according to the type of works, supplies or services and the contract value. "description": "CHIC is acting as a Centralised Procurement Authority (CPA) for our members (Contracting Authorities). Members that decide to use the framework must comply with the Act and they can delegate their obligations to carry out call-off exercises in whole or in part to CHIC. Call-off contracts may be awarded with or without competition(direct award contract (DAC)). Any DAC by a member will be subject to a business case complying with the objective mechanism of the framework and the core terms of the call-off contracts. A \u0027competitive selection process\u0027 will be used including \u0027conditions of participation\u0027 to assess suppliers\u0027 technical ability to perform the contract. In a competitive selection process,any assessment of suppliers\u0027 proposals must be based on some or all of the award criteria used to assess tenders at framework award, which may be refined,e.g.,additional sub-criteria may be included or the criteria explained further. Call-off contracts may extend beyond the term of the framework.",
