    "description": "The University of Salford seek to procure the services of a Principal Contractor to undertake internal alteration and refurbishment works on the 7th Floor of the Maxwell Building, Peel Park Campus, Crescent, Salford, Manchester M5 4WT.\nThe proposed works involve the following:\n7th Floor (Rooms 724, 726 and 728): \n\u2022 Removal of loadbearing and non-loadbearing partition walls.\n\u2022 Strip out of existing office door.\n\u2022 Erection of partition wall to infill existing opening.\n\u2022 Refurbishment of space incl. new carpet, suspended ceiling and decoration to\nwalls.\n\u2022 Associated mechanical and electrical work\nThe works will be completed during the normal works hours of Monday to Friday 07:30 - 18:00. It is proposed the University will vacate rooms for the full duration of works however the wider building, including the adjoining spaces on the 7th Floor, will be in use for the duration of the construction period. Contractors must outline how works will be segregated to allow continued use of the building within the quality response.",
