    "description": "Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Mercateo Procurement Platform to support the provision of electric battery-powered floor cleaning machines for use by the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations.\r\n\r\nThe Mercateo Procurement Platform (www.mercateo.co.uk) offers a compliant route to market for UK Public Sector organisations to manage low-value, high-volume procurement.\r\n\r\nWe are seeking suppliers able to provide a range of floor cleaning machines, specifically:\r\n\r\n2 sweepers (rideable or pedestrian operated)\r\n2 scrubbers (rideable or pedestrian operated)\r\nSuppliers must be able to provide full support and training for the equipment, with staff holding appropriate security clearances (SC, DV, or EDV as applicable).\r\n\r\nKey Requirements\r\nSupply of new, electric battery-powered floor cleaning machines (sweepers and scrubbers), suitable for use in institutional environments.\r\nAbility to provide support and training, with personnel holding the required UK government security clearances (SC, DV, or EDV).\r\nDelivery and installation at multiple UK locations as required.\r\nCompliance with all relevant UK and EU regulations for safety and environmental standards.\r\nWillingness to transact via the Mercateo Procurement Platform.\r\nHow to Apply\r\nInterested suppliers should register their interest by contacting Unite Procurement UK Limited and provide details of their available products, support and training capabilities, and evidence of appropriate staff security clearances. Further information on the onboarding process for the Mercateo Procurement Platform will be provided upon expression of interest and can also be found at the link above.\r\n\r\nUnite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier for this requirement. Instead, multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Mercateo Procurement Platform to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base, supporting flexibility and choice for the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations.\r\n\r\nSuppliers are encouraged to express their interest by the stated closing date to ensure early consideration. However, applications to join the Mercateo Procurement Platform will be welcome at any time beyond the initial deadline.
