    "description": "Herefordshire Council is seeking to appoint a Principal Contractor to carry out works to 2 properties in Hereford city centre, HR4 9HS. The works are to remodel two existing 3-bedroom semi-detached properties to provide 8 self-contained apartments to house people requiring transitional accommodation. \r\n\r\nThe works will be carried out in unoccupied building, with no working restrictions. The site comprises of one 3-bedroom residential semi-detached property and one former 3- bedroom semi-detached house converted to offices. \r\nThe works will also include the demolition of detached garage and link glazed lobby, as well as some external works to provide level access including ramps, steps and landings, new hard landscaping and improvements to boundary walls, gates and fencing.\r\n\r\nThe works to commence by 31 March 2025 with anticipated 6 months programme.  \r\n\r\nThe contract will be administrated under JCT Minor Works 2024 Contract with Contractors Design. \r\n\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nHerefordshire Council has published this contract opportunity on the \u0027Supplying the Southwest Portal\u0027.
