    "description": "B, C \u0026 D Antennas - Concrete Bases Repairs, Akrotriri \r\n\r\nThe basic requirement under Work Order WC1857628 is the repairing, strengthening, and waterproofing of the existing concrete foundations supporting Antenna Systems B, C and D located at the Salt Lake Site, RAF Akrotiri (West Site). \r\n\r\nThe site is situated in a marine environment, with the foundations submerged in lake water for approximately two-thirds of the year. This exposure has likely contributed to degradation, including corrosion of reinforcement bars (rebars), concrete spalling, and potential cracking due to saline conditions.\r\n\r\nThe objective is to extend the service life of the foundations by exposing and repairing damaged areas, strengthening the structure through reinforced concrete extensions, enhancing corrosion protection, filling of any cracks and applying waterproofing measures. All works shall comply with relevant standards, including EN 206 for concrete, EN 1992-1-1 for structural design, and local environmental regulations to minimize impact on the sensitive marine and lake ecosystem.\r\n\r\nThe Provisional Key Tender dates for the project are as follows:\r\n\r\n-              Expression of interest: Friday 12/12/2025  \r\n-              Expression of interest return:  Thursday 18/12/2025 \r\n-              Invitation to Tender: Friday 19/12/2025\r\n-              Tender Return Date: Friday 30/01/2026\r\n-              Contract award: Friday 06/03/2026\r\n-              Commencement of work:  Monday 31/08/2026\r\n-              Completion of work: Friday 25/09/2026 \r\n\r\nThe currency of this project is Euro (\u20ac).\r\n\r\nThe location of this project is Akrotiri, Cyprus (British Forces).\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nAny company wishing to participate in this tender should complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and the EOI form which are attached and return them electronically to the above email address by no later than 12:00 EET on 18/12/2025.  \r\n\r\nFor companies that have submitted a PQQ within the last 12 months, there is no requirement to re-submit it.
