    "description": "Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT to secure a multi-lotted supplier framework for the supply of food and drink products, including fresh provisions fresh meat, groceries, frozen food products, fresh baked products and soft drinks/snacks.\r\n\r\nThe Framework is separated into twenty-three (23) lots and the requirements are as follows.\r\n\r\nThe required goods for Lots 1 to 21 are to be supplied and delivered into the Authority\u0027s appointed distributor, Ralph Livesey Ltd whose distribution hub addresses are:\r\n\r\nFresh Food Distribution Hub,\r\nUnit 72B, Roman Way,\r\nOff Longridge Road,\r\nPreston,\r\nPR2 5BE\r\n\r\n\r\nAnd\r\n\r\nUnit 7\r\nGreen Acre Park\r\nHoward Street\r\nBolton\r\nBL1 8HN\r\n\r\nDeliveries of the products supplied by the successful supplier(s) for Lots 1 to 21 will then be made by the Distributor to over 500 units county-wide. The majority of these units are educational establishments (Primary and High Schools / Colleges) but to also the Authority\u0027s Residential Care Sites.\r\n\r\nLots 22 and 23 are to be supplied and directly delivered to the Authority\u0027s customers.\r\n\r\nLot 22 is for the supply and delivery of fresh bread, morning goods and sweet baked products to approximately 500 units including schools, colleges and residential care home.\r\n\r\nLot 23 is for the the supply and delivery of soft drinks, crisps and confectionery products to over 70 units, including high schools, care homes and Authority corporate sites.\r\n\r\nThe initial Framework term is 2 years, the Authority may in its absolute discretion, exercise the option to extend the term by any number of defined periods, so long as the maximum duration of the framework agreement does not exceed 4 years.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the Purchaser wishes to establish this framework (where the successful Tenderer\u0027s capacity and capability permits) as\r\naccessible for use by other public sector bodies including:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Blackpool Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Bury Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Cheshire East County Council\r\n\u2022 Cheshire West and Chester Council\r\n\u2022 Derbyshire County Council\r\n\u2022 Halton Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Knowsley Metropolitan Council\r\n\u2022 Manchester City Council\r\n\u2022 Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Salford City Council\r\n\u2022 Sefton Council\r\n\u2022 St Helens Council\r\n\u2022 Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 West Lancashire Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Wyre Borough Council\r\n\u2022 Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service\r\n\u2022 The Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire\r\n\r\nThe framework is estimated to be between \u00a38,990,000 and \u00a310,788,000 per annum based on the Purchaser\u0027s own recent historical data. (Between \u00a335,960,000 and \u00a343,152,000 over the maximum 4-year period)\r\n\r\nThe figures above include participation by the wider public sector authorities listed above for the maximum 4 years. However, their participation is not guaranteed.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The estimated range of participation for wider public sector authorities is between \u00a30 to \u00a31,798,000 per annum\r\n\r\nTenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed.\r\n\r\n\"The tender documents are available on Lancashire County Council\u0027s electronic tendering site. https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/iSupplier/\r\n\r\nUse of this system does not require high specification IT equipment or connections, nor high level personal IT skills/capabilities.
