It is the central pillar of NH\u0027s conceptual data models.\r\n\r\nBy grouping key related entities together, NH can better create templated families of entities that often appear together in services and products, driving interoperability in data from the bottom up as well as the top down.\r\n\r\nThe taxonomy service exists to effectively master, manage, and maintain lists of things and controlled vocabularies that are key to running the business. By providing a single consistent point of interaction for simple lists of things, interoperability and consistency is driven across domains at the lowest possible opportunity cost.",
