    "description": "Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to undertake Landscape renovation of the former churchyard around the Grade I Listed Holy Trinity Church in the centre of Colchester, with access via Culver Street West.\r\n      \r\n      The Works will include the landscape renovation as detailed, in addition to the design and construction of New and replacement railings and gates, including handrails and Mechanical and Electrical installation.\r\n      \r\n      This work will be undertaken using the JCT Form of Contract - Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor\u0027s Design 2024 Edition.\r\n      \r\n      A Site Visit will be arranged for either the 3rd or 5th December (Exact date to be confirmed), details will be provided via clarification through the e-tendering portal.\r\n      \r\n      Bidders are to include their proposed timeline within the Quality response - Question 3.2Programme (Including Project Timetable \u0026 Project Management).\r\n      \r\n      Further details of the requirements can be found in the accompanying specification document.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.\r\n        \r\n        The contract commencement is stated as provisionally 3rd March 2026 with a 6 month construction period (estimated for purpose of this notice), although this is subject to bidders responses, which will be evaluated as part of the overall evaluation process.\r\n        \r\n        Guide budget is approximately \u00a3850,000.00.",
