    "description": "This report presents the procurement process undertaken for the Democratic Education \r\nmulti-lot and seeks approval to award contracts to the recommended suppliers for each Lot.\r\nThe objective of this procurement exercise was to secure a range of delivery partners with the \r\nexpertise to provide citizenship and political education across the UK. The is intended to \r\nsupport young people\u0027s understanding of democracy, citizenship, and participation, while \r\nensuring equality of access and innovation in delivery.\r\nFollowing a compliant tender process under the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23), seven Lots \r\nhave been awarded. In three Lots, multiple suppliers were appointed under a taxi rank \r\narrangement, providing the Commission with flexibility.\r\nThe maximum total budget for Year 1 is \u00a3746,000, with up to \u00a33.3m expected across the full \r\ncontract period (3-5 years). Budgets were allocated per Lot as published in the ITT, and \r\nawards remain within these caps.",
