    "description": "Development of Hydrogen-ready Industrial Boiler Publicly Available Specification (PAS) \r\n\r\nDecarbonising industrial processes is an important part of\r\nachieving our net zero ambitions, and a likely early off-taker of low\r\ncarbon hydrogen. We will take steps to ensure this can happen by\r\nphasing out unabated fossil fuel burning in industry and supporting\r\npossible replacements. Therefore, the Department is sponsoring the\r\nBritish Standards Institution (BSI) to develop a Publicly Available\r\nSpecification (PAS) for large boiler equipment that is hydrogen-\r\nready. This standardisation document will be aligned to PAS 4444,\r\ndeveloped for hydrogen-fired and hydrogen-ready gas appliances.\r\n\r\nWe anticipate this PAS will develop a standardised definition for\r\nwhat constitutes a large \u0027hydrogen-ready\u0027 boiler that will give\r\nconfidence to End-Users that this equipment can enable faster and\r\ncheaper fuel switching to hydrogen than would otherwise be the\r\ncase.",
